Local Exhaust Ventilation - COSHH
All local exhaust ventilation (LEV) systems used to protect employee exposure to workplace dust and fumes must be examined under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH).
The frequency of inspections depends on the type of substance being controlled, but the equipment must be regularly maintained and inspected by the user.
CTS Safety can carry out the thorough examination of your LEV Systems and advise on any action required to maintain your statutory obligations.
Our Engineer Surveyors who carry out thorough examination of LEV are qualified with the BOHS holding P601 and P604 certificates for Thorough Examination and Testing of Local Exhaust Ventilation Systems.
Following the completion of an LEV examination CTS Safety will provide a detailed report of system condition and, if required, any remedial action required. A certificate of thorough examination will be issued for all LEV systems that are satisfactory for use.
