Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV)

The wood working industry historically has a poor reputation for looking after its workers. The COSHH regulations are there to protect the health of all involved and all too often the dangers are not taken seriously by the employers or employees.

During a Thorough Examination & Test of a LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) system on site, one of our engineers found a great example of a company following industry best practice and looking after its employees by stopping brushing and blowing dust. This reduces the chance of it going into a person's breathing zone.
