Our engineer, Karl, has been out carrying out Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) Thorough Examination and Tests (TExT) on a range of LEV systems for our clients, so we thought it was the perfect opportunity to share some of his findings and highlight just how important these inspections are.

A Thorough Examination and Test (TExT) isn't just about ticking a compliance box. It's about:

The photos from Karl's inspections show several systems that were no longer effectively controlling the contaminants they were designed to capture, with some obvious defects identified during testing.
