INITA Trade Association Annual AGM and Conference

It’s now just over two weeks since CTS Safety attended the 2026 INITA Trade Association Annual AGM and Conference.

Over the two-day event, delegates heard from three excellent speakers, covering a range of important topics affecting our industry.

Firstly, Charlotte Geesin, Legal & Compliance Director at Howarth’s, provided an update on key legal and compliance matters.

This was followed by Martin Banasik, Director of Martin Banasik Consulting, who delivered an insightful presentation on “Incidents – The Causes and Effects”, followed by a short update on the changes to ISO 17020.

The final presentation was delivered by Lee Vickers, Senior Manager, Genie Product Safety, who discussed the changes to BS 8460 – The Safe Use of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs).

Alongside the presentations, the conference included a technical forum and updates from the relevant committees that INITA members represent the association on.

It was a valuable two days and a great opportunity for CTS Safety to stay up to date with the latest developments, changes and discussions taking place across the industry.
